Find A Treat shows treat vendors live on a map while they are out trading. If a vendor shares their location, you will see them live on the Treat Map. Simply open the app, allow location access and see all nearby treat vans in real time.

No, vendors do not publish schedules and we do not predict routes. You will only see them once they are live on the Treat Map. Turn on notifications so you get alerted the moment a van goes live near you.

There may be no vendors live nearby at this moment. When this happens, the map will briefly show no vans, then automatically switches to display vendors who usually operate in the area. Grey vans are offline so they are not serving yet. Check back later or turn notifications on to know when one goes live.

Greyed-out vans are offline. They are not currently sharing their location so you cannot navigate to them yet. When they go live, their icon becomes coloured and active.

When there are no live vendors nearby, the toggle turns on automatically so you can see all vans on the Treat Map including those that are offline. This lets you see which vendors usually operate in your area even when they are not currently live.

You can only navigate to vendors who are currently live. If the icon is grey, they are not sharing their location yet. Check back later or follow the van to get notified when they go live.

Yes. The Treat Map works anywhere vendors are using the app. Find A Treat is currently live in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Just open it in the area you are visiting and see what is nearby.

Yes. Enable notifications in the app and we will let you know when a vendor goes live close to you. You can also favourite specific vans to get notified only when your favourite vendors are nearby.

Yes. Tap the heart icon on any vendor profile to favourite them. You will then get notified whenever that van goes live near your location so you never miss them again.

They may not be sharing their location yet, may have gone offline, or location permissions could be disabled on your device. Make sure location access and notifications are enabled in your phone settings for the Find A Treat app.

Pings are push notifications that vendors send to customers within roughly a 3 mile radius when they are open and serving. Think of it like ringing the ice cream bell, but digitally. Every new vendor receives 5 free Pings on sign up.

You can choose how you want to use Pings:

No. Pings are completely free for customers to receive. Only vendors pay to send them.

The best times to send a Ping are:

• When you first go live
• When entering a new area
• When footfall is quiet
• During good weather

Customers within approximately a 3 mile radius of your current location will receive the notification.

No. Customers can live track you as you move so you do not need to stay in one spot. Just keep your location sharing on and they can navigate directly to you wherever you are.

Yes. You only appear live on the Treat Map when you share your location. You can toggle your location on and off at any time so you are always in control of when customers can see you.

Yes. You can run multiple vans on Find A Treat. Each van needs to sign in on its own phone so the correct live location is shown on the map. They can all use the same business name but each device represents one physical van.

Yes. Each vendor profile shows customer ratings and reviews so you can find the best treat vans in your area before you visit.

Find A Treat is currently live in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, with plans to expand to more countries in the future. In the UK, we have dedicated pages for London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liverpool.

We only show vendors who are live at that moment. If you see mostly grey icons, those vendors operate in your area but are not currently sharing their location. Check back later or enable notifications to be alerted when a van goes live near you.

No. Find A Treat is for discovering vendors in real time, not for booking or ordering in advance. If you want to book a van for an event, we recommend contacting the vendor directly through their profile.

No. Vendors never see your exact location. Your location is only used to show you nearby vendors and send you relevant notifications.
